Intentional Irrelevance
I strive for irrelevance.
The asset-based lending I facilitate through Sawgrass Finance isn’t designed to fund a business forever. It’s designed to get a company to bankability. Once a borrower returns to a financial position suitable for traditional commercial lending, I encourage them to take it.
I know we’ve succeeded when I’ve made myself irrelevant.
That approach stands in stark contrast to other nontraditional lending solutions like factoring, which extends a lifeline while damaging a company’s credit.
Asset-based lending leverages a company’s hard-earned accounts payable and inventory to extend a revolving line of credit without harm to reputation or creditworthiness.
When a traditional bank can meet their needs, I’m the first to make an introductory call. And when the tables are turned, bankers call me for out-of-the-box solutions.
How is such mutual respect possible? There’s room for both of our offerings – both in the marketplace and in the life of a business.
